What is an escape room?
Escape rooms are a theatrical experience in which you and your party will be locked in a room. You’ll have to use various elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within 60 minutes. All of our rooms have different themes and difficulties: to find your favorite, just click “Our Rooms”.
At Fox in a Box, we offer a private escape room experience. This means that your room is reserved for your party and your party alone, no matter how many people are in your group. Not looking for new friends? We understand: we’ll never pair you up with strangers.
How many rooms do you have?
We have 3 action-packed rooms:
– Mission Bunker (2-6 participants)
– Prison Break (2-8 participants)
– Zodiac Killer 18+ Horror themed Escape room(2-6 participants)
We can host up to 20-22 participants in one time slot.
How do I make a reservation?
You’re just a few clicks away from making your reservation. Here on our website you’ll find all the information you need about our rooms. Once you’re ready, head on over to our “Book Now” tab to make your reservation. If you have questions about reservations, please feel free to contact us at info@foxinaboxseattle.com
After you make a booking, you’ll receive an email confirmation and receipt. If you do not receive these two emails, please make sure to contact us as you may have not fully reserved the room. Remember, a game is not guaranteed until you receive the confirmation email and the receipt.
For day of bookings you will need to call us at (206) 495-3081 to book an available booking.
How much does it cost?
Price varies based on the number of participants. To check the price for your party, go to “Book now”, choose your room, date, and time, and input the number of players in your party. Without submitting any personal information, you’ll be able to see the price for the selected time. Please be aware that our rooms are live events, and once your booking is confirmed, refunds and cancellations are not accepted.

Team Sizes
The minimum group size is 2 people per mission. It is impossible to accomplish some of our puzzles with fewer than 2 people.
The maximum group size is based on the mission:
– Nuclear Missile Bunker (6 participants)
– Prison Break (8 participants)
– Zodiac Serial Killer (6 participants)
If you need to make a reservation for more participants than the room can hold, you can use the Multiple Booking option. This allows you to select more than one room at a time while also allowing you to enter in your reservation information only once. This makes the reservation process for more than one room easier and faster.
Canceling, rescheduling, & refunds
Our escape rooms are all live events, so please note that all sales are FINAL. If you’re not certain how many people will be joining your party, we suggest that you book for the minimum number of participants. Our game supervisors can easily add any additional adventurers once your team arrives – just make sure your party doesn’t exceed our limit (6 players per room).
Want to reschedule? Just shoot us an email (info@foxinaboxseattle.com) – we don’t bite. Please make sure to give us a minimum of 48 hours notice before your game. Any changes within 48 hours of you booking has a $25 fee that is taken off the top of refunds or charged upon the rescheduled time.
Payment Methods and deposits
You can select to pay everything online, to receive an invoice or to use a voucher received or a gift card bought from us.
Please note we do not accept American Express for online payments.
Invoices will be sent after you’ve played, and we will make sure the invoice reflects the actual amount of players who participated, so there is no need to update us ahead of your game if your number of players changes. Only if you need to change the number of rooms.
In order to use the voucher as payment add your voucher code in the field named “Discount Code” and click on “Check” to activate the voucher.
Will I need to sign a release of liability before my experience?
Yes. Each person needs to sign a release of liability before participating an experience in store. For any minor younger than 18 years old, an adult needs to be present to sign a release of liability.
What is the age limit?
Due to the complexity of the missions, the minimum required age of a team member for Nuclear Missile Bunker and Prison Break is 13, and the minimum age for Zodiac Killer is 18 because you start out restrained and blind folded, both the blindfold and the restraints are optional but everyone must be 18 or older to participate in the Zodiac Killer room. Please talk to your game supervisor if you are prone to panic attacks or are uncomfortable in any way.
Children that are 13-15 years old can play Prison Break and Nuclear Missile Bunker, however they are required to have at least 1 adult in the room with them.
We cannot accommodate children younger than 18 at our facility without parental supervision.
Accessibility and Special Requirements
For wheelchair accessibility, please give us a call and we will explain in detail how we can accommodate you. If you’re pregnant, sensitive to flashing lights, or have other health conditions, just let us know of any concerns over the phone before you play and we’ll help you out.
Zodiac Killer is best for players who are feeling brave, as there may be jump-scares during your game. If you’re feeling jumpy, that’s okay: let your game supervisor know before you play that you’d like to tone down the scares for your party. Our Mission Bunker and Prison Break rooms are horror-free, so you can play without fear of any gruesome surprises.

Saturday-Sunday: 11 AM – 10 PM
Wednesday-Friday: 12:30 PM – 10 PM
If we don’t pick up right away, we promise we still want to talk to you – leave us your name and message and we’ll return your call as soon as we can.
Late Policy:
Time will be started 15 minutes after booking time. 30 minutes after booking time if no one has arrived then we will have to cancel the booking.

What are the rules for people under the influence?
Although some things are more fun under the influence of mind-altering substances, we promise this isn’t one of them. Having a clear mind actually makes our rooms much more enjoyable. We also do not tolerate substance abuse and have zero tolerance for customers attempting to participate while under the influence of any mind-altering drugs or alcohol. Remember, our staff reserves the right to refuse anyone for any reason without a refund.
