Yes we can!
The Zombie Apocalypse.
The event that more or less made George A Romero’s entire identity as a filmmaker…
The event that also gave us other classics like The Walking Dead, the REC franchise, 28 Days/Weeks Later, Ash vs Evil Dead...I could go on and on.
An escape room like Fox in a Box Seattle has a whole host of uses.
From being a great option for a family experience, to hosting birthday parties and even team building events…
So, the next inevitable question is...can this escape room help you survive the zombie apocalypse?
Surviving the zombie apocalypse…

Don’t dismiss it as something you don’t need to worry about.
The CDC - the Centers for Disease Control - has published a blog on how to prepare for the zombie apocalypse. I’ll add a link to the blog at the end so you can check it out.
But right now, let’s stay on the topic of how far Fox in a Box Seattle can help you prepare for the zombie apocalypse.
What happens at Fox in a Box?
Escape room games.
We have rooms set up to simulate thrilling scenarios - like a prison, or a military bunker.
From room decor to special effects, we go the whole nine yards to make them come to life.
But, this isn’t just about standing in a room and enjoying some special effects.
You’ll be given a mission. For example, to escape the prison taking advantage of a riot.
To find your way forward, you’ll have to look for clues. Solve puzzles, manipulate objects, and perform tasks.
You have 60 minutes to accomplish your mission and escape the room.
The missions here at Fox in a Box Seattle
We have three escape room missions for you to choose from…
In Mission Bunker, you have to infiltrate a top secret military bunker and avert a catastrophic nuclear launch.
In Prison Break, you need to break out of a prison, taking advantage of a riot.
In Zodiac Killer...well, I’ll let you guess.
So, how can Fox in a Box Seattle help you survive the zombie apocalypse?
Well, there are two aspects to surviving the zombie apocalypse:
Stocking up supplies

You’ll need to stock up
Water (1 gallon per person per day).
Food (non-perishable stuff).
Medicine and medical supplies.
Tools (like utility knife, duct tape, radios, torches etc), and so on.
For these, if you’re in the Seattle area, we may be able to direct you to nearby stores where you can get all these.
Planning and teamwork
Planning and out of the box thinking would be crucial in a zombie outbreak.
When do you stay put at one stop?
When do you keep moving?
How do you replenish your supplies?
Teamwork is also important. You’ll have to work together as a team to survive.
How many zombie movies have you seen with a single gun-toting hero?
It’s always a team that does the work.
Even in the Resident Evil films.
Planning and teamwork in an escape room
Escape rooms are well known for boosting skills like communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
They also train you in resolving arguments, and spotting and fixing weaknesses in the team.
So, to sum up, as far as preparing for/surviving the zombie apocalypse is concerned,
Fox in a Box Seattle will be happy to tell you great places in Seattle to stock up on supplies, and…
Our escape games will help you collaborate with each other and think creatively as you plan your next move amidst the chaos.
